I fix a lot of computers customers tell me are "running slow", slower than when first purchased. Frustrating, isn't it? Most of these have been infected with viruses, spyware, and malware. To fix these types of problems I install cleaning software, then I remove unnecessary applications, for instance programs you downloaded by accident or perhaps by the age old internet trickery- "Free Screensaver!" or "Free Pictures of Brad Pitt"... and so on. This type of repair requires no parts. On many of these types of repairs I strongly suggest memory upgrades, which can typically be done for $50 in parts, plus the $55 labor charge.
I warranty all work for 30 days. New parts have their own warranties which are typically 1 - 3 years.
I can also do remote support where- with your permission- I login to your computer from my place of business and make changes and adjustments. The charge for this service is $55 for the first 90 minutes and $45/hr after that. This service requires that you have:
An up-to-date web browser, and
A broadband internet connection.Running out of space? At I Fix Computers we can also upgrade that hard drive in your laptop or PC to give you more file storage. Typical cost is $100 for parts plus $55 labor charge.
